Portland Organizations Join Forces to Tell the Story of Women’s Basketball’s Return to the Rose City

Portland, Oregon (July 10, 2025) WNBA Portland today announced a strategic partnership with Brandlive, a leading enterprise video platform headquartered in Portland. Together, the two Portland-based organizations will deliver exclusive, behind-the-scenes content in the lead-up to the team’s 2026 tip-off – including Signing Day celebrations. As part of the collaboration, Brandlive’s logo will appear on WNBA Portland’s practice jerseys, symbolizing their shared mission and placing the company at the center of the team’s journey and growing global spotlight.

“WNBA Portland is more than just a team – it’s a reflection of the passion and pride that lives in this city,” said Clare Hamill, WNBA Portland Interim President. “Brandlive’s storytelling expertise and deep Portland roots make them the perfect partner to help us share this journey with the Rose City and beyond. Together, we’re creating a dynamic, digital front row for our fans, one that will capture every milestone as we bring professional women’s basketball back to Portland.”

Known for its patented software, creative production tools, and high-impact video services, Brandlive helps the world’s top companies produce engaging webinars, town halls, marketing events and on-demand video content, equipping every team to deliver when it’s game time.

“At Brandlive, we believe great stories deserve a great showcase. Few stories are more exciting right now – especially here in Portland – than the launch of our city’s new WNBA team,” said Sam Kolbert-Hyle, President & CEO of Brandlive. “This partnership is about telling that story with the production value, polish, and platform it deserves. We’re proud to help bring it to life, and even prouder of the moments we’ll share with our community and fans around the world.”

“The WNBA is redefining what it means to lead in sports – and we see our mission in parallel,” added Tony Pullen, Chief Revenue Officer of Brandlive. “At Brandlive, we’re bringing the magic of TV to business so that the video we watch at work looks and feels like what we’re watching outside of it. We’re proud to partner with Portland’s newest franchise to help them craft their message, captivate audiences, and stream a movement that resonates far beyond the court.”

WNBA Portland’s partnership with Brandlive will debut during the inaugural Global Women’s Sports Epicenter Week presented by RAJ Sports, a weeklong celebration beginning July 23 that spotlights Portland as a global hub of women’s sports. As part of the festivities, Brandlive will produce and stream an exclusive virtual WNBA Portland event on Thursday, July 24, giving fans in Portland and afar a front-row seat to the excitement. Additional details about the livestream and fan programming will be shared in the near future. Brandlive joins WNBA Portland’s founding group of Community Game Changer partners alongside First Tech Federal Credit Union and Alaska Airlines, a top-tier designation reserved for partners demonstrating a significant commitment to women’s sports. WNBA Portland will unveil its official brand identity on July 15, ushering in a bold new era of women’s basketball.
